TPU refers to polyurethane thermoplastic elastomer, TPU has high modulus, high strength, high elongation and high elasticity, excellent wear resistance, oil resistance, solvent resistance, Low temperature resistance, aging resistance, and biodegradable environmental performance, so it is increasingly widely used.
And TPU has various processing methods. Polyurethane elastomers can be molded by plasticizing, mixing, and vulcanizing processes like ordinary rubber, or in the form of liquid rubber, cast and molded, cast centrifugal molding, or sprayed. It can also be made into granular materials by injection, extrusion, Forming by processes such as calendering and blow molding.
In recent years, many new methods have been added to the processing of TPU. Molded or poured products can also be reprocessed by mechanical means of turning semi-finished products. This processing method of semi-finished products turning has become a more popular processing method in the industry in recent years. Especially for the cast polyurethane elastomer, after being mechanically poured by an elastomer casting machine, the semi-finished product is turned again using a CNC machine tool. This process not only improves work efficiency, but also greatly improves the dimensional accuracy and appearance of the product. Moreover, the use of a pouring machine for pouring also avoids hidden defects that may be caused by manual pouring, and greatly improves the service life of the product.
